PRODUCTS

Our products are offered for sale in perfect condition, just as they are provided to the Museum by their producer. However, in the case of handcrafted products or products requiring natural processes in production, individual products may vary.

The cast copies produced by the Museum are carefully made to recreate the look and feel of the original exhibits and, in most cases, reflect the damage, aging, patina, and traces of color of the original exhibit. Due to their manual production, there may be individual variations from one reproduction to another of the same exhibit.

E-Shop products are subject to availability at the time of your ordering. The Museum informs customers of the availability of the product based on available information.

PRICING

Product prices are those indicated on the product profile page of the E-Shop and do not include shipping costs. Shipping costs are determined by the weight, volume and destination of the delivery.

The exchange rate option in the currency of your choice is only available for your information. Payments are exclusively made in euros though.

PRODUCT RETURNS

Return of non-faulty products – Right of Customer Withdraw from purchase without  cause: The Customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 calendar days from the date of the product’s delivery. Where there is more than one product in the same order and where the Museum has been obliged to deliver the order in separate deliveries, the deadline is valid from the delivery of the final product.

The withdrawal can be made under the following preconditions:

The withdrawal is the Customer’s choice and brings no additional charge to the Museum. If the item has already been delivered, the Customer must return the product in the precise condition in which it was received, with all its parts, the forms with which it was delivered, and its packaging in excellent condition. In this case, the Customer is liable for all shipping costs entailed in the return.

The declaration of withdrawal is made in writing or electronically. The Museum is obliged to confirm receipt of the declaration of withdrawal when it arrives at the Museum.

Following the declaration of withdrawal, the Museum is obliged to return the payment for the amount it received and commence the administrative process for the return which may exceed 25 calendar days from the date of the receipt of the returned product.

The Museum will refund the Customer using the same means the Customer made the initial payment to the Museum.

Where a refund occurs, the Museum must inform the issuing bank about the cancellation of the transaction. The bank will then proceed to any transaction foreseen in their contract with the Customer.  After issuing that advice, the Museum bears no responsibility for the time and manner of the refund by the bank.

The initial product shipping costs are not refundable, while the Customer, in case of withdrawal, is charged with the return costs.

If the products are returned damaged or incomplete, the Museum has the right, having assessed their condition, not to return their total value or part of it.  The sum returned is determined by the product's condition, and the Museum can unilaterally proceed to the full or partial offset of the Customer’s claim.

Return due to Delivery of Wrong Product: In all cases where different products, in-kind, quantity or quality to those ordered online from the Museum have been delivered, the customer returns the products to the Museum to check and confirm the error. In this case, the costs of the return and the reshipping of a replacement product will be borne by the Museum, provided that the method of return proposed by the Museum is observed.

Return of defective products: During packaging and preparation for dispatch, the Museum checks that products are in perfect condition. If, however, a Customer ascertains that a product has a production fault and this is confirmed by the Museum or by the Museum with the   supplier of the product, then the following applies:

The product(s) for replacement must be returned within 14 calendar days from the date of their delivery and must be accompanied by all the original accompanying documents (Shipping Note - Invoice, Retail Receipt) and its complete original packaging.

Products will be returned by courier. The Customer bears the Shipping costs to the Museum, and the Museum pays the shipping costs for the replacement or the repaired product.  A necessary precondition, in this case, is the provision of the purchase receipt.

When the product is returned to the Museum, the defect reported by the Customer’s is checked. The Museum will communicate with the Customer to inform them about the outcome of the check.

If the defect is confirmed, the product is repaired or replaced. If it is not possible to repair or replace the product with the same or similar product of equivalent value by the Museum, the transaction is cancelled, and the money is returned. In the case of a refund, the Museum returns the money using the same means as the initial payment made to the Museum by the Customer.

In case of a refund, the Museum must inform the bank that has issued the credit-debit card about the cancellation of the transaction. The bank will then proceed to action foreseen in their contract with the Customer, henceforth without the Museum bearing any responsibility for the time and manner of the refund, which is regulated by the contract mentioned above.

If the products are returned damaged or incomplete, the Museum has the right not to return their total value or part of it, having assessed their condition.  The sum returned is determined by the product's condition, and the Museum can unilaterally proceed to the full or partial offset of the Customer’s claim.
