Payment Methods  

Payments can be made electronically using debit or credit cards Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and/or Union Pay.               

Transactions are only made in euros. The currency option is available for exchange rates in the currency of your choice.

Security of Transactions

The safety of each payment made with any debit or credit card is made in a secure environment provided by the Piraeus Bank through the use of the Protocol for Safe Technology SSL (Security Certificate & Secure Socket Layer Technology), confirmation of which occurs through the SD Secure Network System.

The Acropolis Museum E-Shop has taken all measures to ensure your transactions' safety using debit or credit cards.  However, if fraudulent use of your card is established, we can cancel your payment if we receive advice from the bank issuing the card.  If you recognize fraudulent use of your card, you must immediately inform your bank to cancel the card and prevent its further abuse.
